MAHALO NUI LOA
to Hui Malama I Ke Kai Foundation for the wealth of knowledge shared on their website; and most importantly, the teachings and care they pass to na keiki and 'ohana of Waimanalo, O'ahu.

This beautiful calendar shows the three anahulu (weeks) of ten days a piece.  Use this calendar and compare it to the Gregorian Calendar we use in the everyday, over to the right, on the Sidebar.

Can you find 'Olekukahi, 'Olekulua, 'Olekukolu, 'Olepau ?  Are they in the Waxing or Waning Phases of the Moon?

Where are the three 'Ole moons?  In which anahulu are they?  Do you see the DO NOTHING Moons ahead?

Something to consider:

This workshop COUNT ON THE MOON, begins with HILO (The New Moon down in the bottom right-hand corner of the calendar above).  Today is a time of darkness, a time of gathering energy, looking forward to the yet to be.  The New Moon is a perfect time to set your intentions for a new Moon Cycle, the next 30 days.  Though the focus of this workshop are the Seven Moons of the 'Ole Cycles, tonight's moon is the moon of SETTING NEW INTENTIONS, and new beginnings.

We have time to plan ahead while remaining present for HILO.  Click here to move to the next session 'HILO ... Moon of New Beginnings'
